20 December at 11.00am - Decorate the Church Everyone is welcome to come and decorate the Church. If you have any of your Christmas decorations left over, please bring them along.
21 December at 3pm – Celebrate Christmas A true community Celebration of Christmas, this may be, indeed WILL BE the most informal, family-friendly, one-of-a-kind service ever held at Bartlow church. As we have no vicar, the event will revolve around a children’s nativity play and readings of the Christmas story, some quite unusual poetry recitals and solo and group singing with guitar accompaniment. The service will be followed by mince pies, mulled wine and cake! And the annual lottery draw will be held.

Access 1307
Campaign for 50 NOW!
The Access 1307 Group are asking you to support their speed limit campaign for 50 NOW! on the A1307. The Group believe that immediate action is required to make the road safer for all users. It is proposed to advocate to the Police and Cambridgeshire County Council that: an upper speed limit of 50mph be imposed on the A1307 between Four Wentways roundabout and Haverhill (the County boundary), dropping to 30mph in Abington and Linton. This proposal will be pursued at a meeting on 23rd September. There is now a petition site at www.gopetition.com/petitions/reduce-risks-on-the-a1307.html
