These articles are either press items from our District Councillor, Francis Burkitt or articles submitted by him to Barton Parish Magazine (and also to the magazines of 'his' other villages).
The magazines for Coton/Madingley/Grantchester are longer than Barton’s, and so the articles generally get printed in them, but are truncated in Barton’s, or sometimes not able to fit in Barton’s at all for space reasons.
