Centre for Voluntary Service - St Albans District

The Good Earth

Emma from Earthworks needs more hands. She says "our volunteers help us to continue to thrive. They help look after our three acre site of organic gardens, woodlands, orchard and market garden, working alongside, or in a group with, people with a learning disability. We all have a great time and many friendships are grown.

If you would like to join them, please ring the CVS on 01727 852657 and make an appointment with our advisors to find out about this opportunity and 350+ more. Please help other people in your community and become a volunteer.

No time to give? Would you like to make a donation?. We are happy to accept your financial support on behalf of the voluntary sector or to direct your cheque to an organisation of your choice.

NEW! Gift Aid is now available for the CVS. Fill in a form and s-t-r-e-t-c-h your donation. Click here for your Gift Aid form.

Building Better Boards

Do you have a gap on your Trustee Board? We may just be able to help.

Due to the economic downturn, and redundancies, we have had a large number of enquiries from professional people with time to spare while they seek re-employment.

Please think about any short term opportunities that you could offer to help your internal management and get in touch.
