The Creative Change theme endorsed by the West Norfolk Partnership is improving the aspirations and achievements of young people. The Partnership board also noted that the project could add value by focusing specifically around the communities of South Lynn, helping to provide integration between the existing community and the new ones that will be part of the regeneration of the area.
West Norfolk has relatively high numbers of young people ‘not in education, employment or training’ (NEET). Reducing these numbers is a priority of the local community strategy and, indeed, several other key strategies for Norfolk as a whole.
Our Creative Change project in West Norfolk will allow a group of around 15 pupils in their last year of secondary school to spend time away from the classroom exploring their own personal aspirations through creative collaboration.
